The short version
This notice covers k2elk.com. Our pages run no analytics and load their fonts and media from k2elk.com. We do not profile visitors or use their activity for advertising. Submitting the contact form takes you to FormSubmit for delivery and a spam check; that service may use cookies.
Cookie preferences and analytics
The small cookie panel saves your answer, accept or decline optional, in your browser’s local storage under k2elk-privacy-v2 for up to 180 days. This preference is not sent to an analytics service. The panel disappears after your choice. You can clear the saved preference in your browser’s site settings. No optional analytics, advertising pixels or visitor profiles are currently enabled. We will update this notice and ask for a fresh choice before introducing optional tracking.
Hosting and access logs
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any hosting provider, Vercel may process technical access data such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested path to deliver and protect the service. Vercel is based in the United States and uses international infrastructure. Vercel describes its handling of personal data in its privacy notice and the safeguards available to customers in its data processing addendum.
Contacting us
If you email us or submit the contact form, we use your name, email address, company details if provided, message, and any meeting preferences or product interests you provide to respond to your enquiry and handle any resulting business relationship. Please include only information needed for your enquiry. We keep correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose or as required by applicable retention obligations.
Contact form delivery
The form sends your details to FormSubmit (Devro LABS), which forwards the enquiry to info@k2elk.com. FormSubmit states that it retains submissions for 30 days and uses reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam. Processing by these providers may take place outside Switzerland. Read FormSubmit’s privacy terms and Google’s privacy policy. You can also contact us directly by email.
Email, meetings and demonstrations
Our domain email is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. We use correspondence to respond and arrange any agreed next steps. A meeting or demonstration request does not create a calendar event or connect your browser to Google Meet. If we arrange a call through an external service, we will share the relevant invitation. See Infomaniak’s privacy policy. We do not add enquirers to a marketing list automatically.
Job applications
If you apply by email, we use your CV, contact details, work samples and correspondence to consider your application and discuss suitable work. Access is limited to the people involved in that process. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not relevant to the role. We keep application materials while considering your application and any necessary follow-up, then delete them unless we agree with you to keep them for future opportunities or need them to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to remove your application by emailing info@k2elk.com.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only to providers needed to operate our hosting, form delivery and email, or where the law requires us to do so.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you may ask what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion, and exercise any other rights available under applicable data protection law. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Write to info@k2elk.com. We may need to confirm your identity before answering.
